Master Sgt. Wallace C. Bias assumed duties as Senior Master Trainer Raleigh Recruiting Battalion Sept. 4, 2012.
As Senior Master Trainer, Bias serves as the battalion staff personal advisor on all battalion training needs, particularly in areas affecting Soldiers, as well as recruiting centers training, quality of life, accomplishment of mission and overall unit combat readiness.
He was born in Ville Platte, Louisiana and entered the Army in Opelousas, Louisiana on April 14, 1992. He attended basic combat training and advance individual training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and graduated as a 71L Administrative Specialist.
Bias has held assignments with the V Corps Artillery in Frankfurt, Germany; 27th Main Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; 551st Signal Battalion, Fort Gordon, Georgia; Montgomery Recruiting Battalion; Headquarters USAREC, Fort Knox, Kentucky; and Houston Recruiting Battalion.
His military and civilian education includes: Warrior Leader’s Course; Advance Leader’s Course; Instructor Trainer’s Course; Basic Recruiter Course; Station Commander’s Course; and the Senior Leader’s Course. He is currently 90 semester hours from his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with the University of Phoenix.
