Re-enlistment

Raleigh Recruiting Company celebrated the re-enlistment of Sgt 1st Class Brunson, Oct. 2.

We look forward to the great things he will contribute to the U.S. Army in the future.

Spooky Woods

Sgt. 1st Class Luevano and five Soldiers, attended and participated in the Spooky Woods event in High Point, N.C. Friday, Sept. 28 and Staff Sgt. George and five Soldiers did the same on Saturday, the 29th.
The purpose was to increase its phase line for graduate and senior enlistments and interest and awareness of Army Programs while strengthening a strong working relationships with a large business within the community.

Recruiter Comments: We were able to make this event successful, regardless of weather. The Kersey Valley Employees and Owner (Tony Wohlgemuth) allowed us to use the whole property to our advantage. We were able to ride the tram to each location with the people who were going through the course. This allowed us to have more visibility and a chance to get more interaction with all personnel going through Spooky Woods. An Army Reserve Banner was hung in the center of the Spooky Woods trail and it will hang there throughout the month of October for more Army Visibility. While at the event we were also able to conduct a free raffle both nights giving away a total of four free laser tag gift cards and eight free Dark Circus passes.
The event allowed us to obtain a total of 69 leads for the whole company. Out of those leads 33 were in the High Point area, 26 for the company (Greensboro and Winston Center's) and 10 within the BN Area. This event will cover three more weekends witch should produce over 200 leads.

Hiring heroes

Staff Sgt. Alford and Ratkovec from Rocky Mount Recruiting Center participated in the “Hiring our Heroes,” Oct. 2, sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce.
The purpose was to show a presence in community events and to increase prospecting of potential prior service applicants in the area.

Spookey Woods

Winston Salem Recruiting Company
invite you to the Spooky Woods in Kersey Valley, High Point, N.C., Oct 12 & 13; 19 & 20; & 26-29.
Do you exhibit fear in the face of adversity or of the unknown? Does not knowing what is around the next turn frighten you? Are you weak- minded? Can you handle the pressure of what might happen when you are pushed beyond your limits? If you struggle in these situations this place might not be for you. However, if you want to learn how to be strong, we mean be Army Strong and learn to overcome fear, adversity, take down any obstacle thrown your way, become strong-minded, learn to handle pressure than you might want to come to weekends of Spooky Woods and see what is happening on Army Nights! This will give you the opportunity to Re-Enlist and comeback to see what you are really made of! Be sure to see the United States Army and Army Reserve Exhibit to see if you can rise to that challenge and overcome your fears!

Congratulations!

Sgt. 1st Class Kenny (pictured above left with Col. Faruqui) of 3J3M – Raleigh Main RC & SSG Donnell (pictured below left with Col. Faruqui) of 3J3B Burlington RS, attended and won 2nd Recruiting Brigade's Center Commander of the Year and 2nd Recruiting Brigade's Regular Army NCO of the Year respectively.
Also, SFC Kenny and SSG Donnell represented the Raleigh Recruiting Company and Battalion at the Brigade Board Sept. 24-28, in Red Stone Arsenal. Both exceed the definition of Non-Commissioned Officer and represented our organization with wins in two categories.

Grass Roots

SSG Schad was afforded the opportunity to set up a display at the E-City State  Employment Credit Union. This display will stay up for the month of Oct. The items donated in the box will be donated  to service men & women through a special project by the bank. This display along w/RPI’s is a great way to reach PS applicants because this bank services many of the coast guard service members stationed  in E-City.
